CKD Vessels Building Kits We have a long experience of supplying Completely Knocked Down kits (CKD) to shipyards. These kits typically include the vessel design, pre-cut steel or Aluminium sheets and extrusion, propulsion system, and all the needed machinery and equipment. We also provide technical assistance and logistic support before, during and after the building. We integrate our own kits in most of the cases, relying on our own staff comprising a naval architect, application engineers and a project manager; design and metal cutting codes are usually outsourced from leading designers worldwide. We also import complete CKD kits from reputable shipyards worldwide for projects beyond our expertise. Some significant projects are the following: Hassan Taha A very innovative fireboat that made the cover of Work Boat World Magazine in December 2003. The vessel was designed by Nic de Waal of Teknicraft in New Zealand and the unique drive train for propulsion and fire fighting was developed completely in house.
